Smart dash cam APP

Direct video download: the mobile app connects directly to the dash cam over Wi-Fi, so you can download photos and view videos instantly. In the event of a traffic accident, the footage serves as strong evidence to protect your rights from being infringed.

Project overview

Through the device's Wi-Fi, the app lets you view videos and photos in real time; authorized apps can monitor conditions inside the vehicle at any time and hold real-time video conversations.

Guard mode: after the car is switched off, the system arms itself, triggers alarms and turns on power-saving mode, capturing 5 photos per second or 10 frames of video per second; it switches to this mode automatically once the car is switched off. External vibration sensing inside and outside the car, motion-triggered camera detection and human body heat detection - any one of these three conditions being triggered sends an alert and turns on the high-decibel siren with light and sound. Care mode: when there are elderly people, children or pets in the car, videos or pictures are uploaded to the owner's phone at regular intervals. The interval is set by the owner. By default it is off while driving and on while parked. Auto recording mode: once the owner starts the car, recording begins automatically and continues until the car is switched off; recordings are stored locally and uploaded to the backend, the backend can force-upload audio and video (selected by date and time), and the backend can configure auto recording mode remotely. Vehicle speed, driving date and time are displayed, based on GPS satellite time. (GPS position changes are used to detect whether the vehicle is driving or parked.) Hidden functions can be configured in the backend so that they do not appear in the interface. Videos from all the modes above are stored on the local TF card; the upload function sends them to the backend or to the owner's mobile app as configured.

Driving track playback: the app shows the time, date and geographic location, and you can view videos already stored for a specified time.

After parking, GPS location information or phone location information is sent to the owner's mobile app, and the latitude and longitude are shown on the image; the backend resolves them into a geographic location.

Find-my-car: based on the parking location image information, the app automatically generates a route map between the phone and the parking position. If a map cannot be generated, the app indicates the direction and distance between the two with a voice prompt.
